Kaspersky, industry leader in endpoint protection, has been recognized as a 2019 Customers’ Choice for Endpoint Protection Platforms on Gartner Peer Insights, following a customer rating of 4.6 out of 5 (1729 ratings) – the highest score among all vendors with more than 600 total reviews. Kaspersky has been named a Customers’ Choice all three years the firm has announced it, including winning the Platinum award in 2017.

New Kaspersky Sandbox automates protection from advanced threats
Kaspersky has launched its new Kaspersky Sandbox, built to help organizations combat advanced threats designed to evade detection by endpoint protection platforms (EPP). The solution automatically analyses new suspicious files and sends the decision to the installed EPP. As a result, organizations strengthen their protection from previously unknown threats even if they lack teams of experienced threat analysts or have limited resources.

Kaspersky to process and store data of its customers from the United States and Canada in Switzerland
Kaspersky is progressing with the relocation of its data storage and processing infrastructure to Switzerland, now by moving data from customers from the United States and Canada. In addition, the company is announcing plans to open its first Latin American Transparency Center in São Paulo, Brazil in January 2020.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business scored 100% detection rate in fileless threats protection test by AV-TEST
Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business showed a 100% detection rate and the highest prevention rate (94.12%) of 14 endpoint security vendors in a recent assessment by AV-TEST. The products were judged on the ability to detect fileless threats and to protect and remediate malicious actions.

Kaspersky has been named a Leader in the Forrester Wave Endpoint Security Suites 2019 evaluation. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business is cited among the top five scoring in both the current offering and market presence categories.

Kaspersky updates decryption tool to fight ransomware pair
Kaspersky has updated its RakhniDecryptor tool to allow users whose files were encrypted by Yatron and FortuneCrypt ransomware to retrieve their data without paying a ransom. The updated tool is available on the Nomoreransom.org website.

Light but enterprise-ready: Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security now simplifies large-scale deployment of protection for virtualization
A new version of Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent, part of Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security, responds to enterprises’ demand for virtualization security and scalability. It optimizes protection rollout for larger virtual machine deployments and simplifies security management across an entire infrastructure — with a new advanced Security Virtual Machines (SVM) selection algorithm and role-based access control (RBAC) now available through Kaspersky Security Center. Among the new features, there is also behavior-based protection, exploit and intrusion prevention now available for Windows Server guest OS, as well as compatibility with Kaspersky EDR in virtualized environments.
