    Global, Transparent, Trusted: Kaspersky successfully passes independent SOC 2 audit
    Kaspersky has successfully completed the Service Organization Control for Service Organizations (SOC 2) Type 1 audit. The final report, issued by one of the Big Four accounting firms, confirms that the development and release of Kaspersky’s threat detection rules databases (AV databases) are protected from unauthorized changes by strong security controls. In addition, the company is announcing new developments of its Global Transparency Initiative.

    New version of Kaspersky Password Manager helps to keep valuable digital data in order
    Kaspersky has released a new version of its freemium solution: Kaspersky Password Manager. The solution further simplifies the process of organizing valuable private data – from passwords to documents and photographs. Kaspersky Password Manager now allows users to view and store PDF documents and assign uploaded files to categories, making finding a document faster and more convenient. The new version also adds the ability to check if a password has been compromised in leaked public databases. Further, it supports multiplatform usage scenarios, so that one account can manage the secure vault across all user devices.

    Kaspersky Internet Security for Android has been strengthened with a new feature for combating the evolving malware landscape – Cloud ML for Android. The new feature, based on machine learning technology, ensures immediate proactive detection of advanced and previously unknown malware, to minimize the risks of mobile devices being exposed to cyberattacks. To this end, malicious applications that may have been downloaded on a mobile device are detected before they launch.

The product features Adaptive Anomaly Control, which intelligently perceives and blocks anomalous applications and user behavior, and offers improved protection from miners and network threats. Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business now also provides users with a web-based management console, along with features to help automate administrator tasks — all to give IT security teams greater control across all endpoints in their corporate infrastructure.

    Kaspersky Safe Kids for Windows successfully passes AV-Comparatives certification criteria
    Kaspersky Safe Kids for Windows was included in the top three solutions for children's online security, successfully achieving certification from the Austrian independent organization AV-Comparatives. During testing, the Kaspersky Lab product was ranked best according to several criteria; in particular, the percentage of blocked unwanted content: adult, gambling and weapon sites.
